Troubleshooting Q & A

[Q] Customer complains they got blank screen after successful access through remote console.


a. Kindly check on your firefox version on your computer. If you are using firefox version 13.0.1 and above, please be downgrade to firefox 
version 12.0 and see whether the problem still happens or not.

c. If you still in counter problem, please uninstall vcloud console plugin.

After installing the vCloud remote console plugin please ensure the software is up to date.


[Q] Customer complains access through remote console are slow


a. On the slowness, yes, remote console are slow, and not advisable to be used for daily operation.
You can use remote desktop for Windows OS and for SSH for Linux OS to manage your server remotely and remote console are meant
for first time installation and/or maintenance works.
 
 [Q] VM is an inconsistent state

a. Click on "Virtual Machines" tab, right click on the problematic VM, and choose
“Power on and Force Recustomization”.
